Amnésicos de nuestra memoria histórica; ignorantes del pasado, desconociendo a nuestros abuelos anahuacas y con una historia occidentalizada contada para el beneficio de unos, caminamos por la vida en búsqueda del sentido de pertenencia que nos enajena y al mismo tiempo inconforma por no hallar plenitud en ello. Y es que, no encajamos en una historia que no es la nuestra. Es un sentir en el pecho; es, como una pequeña llama que no se apaga pero tampoco arde o bien un vacío que no se llena.

Nuestro origen se remonta a una de las civilizaciones que alcanzaron el más alto grado de desarrollo en todo el mundo, sin embargo por siglos nos han obligado a olvidarlo.

“Let corn be your root”

Amnesiacs of our historical memory; ignorant of the past, unaware of our Anahuac ancestors, and with a Westernized history told for the benefit of a few, we walk through life in search of a sense of belonging that alienates us and, at the same time, leaves us dissatisfied because we find no fulfillment in it. And it is that we do not fit into a history that is not our own. It is a feeling in our chest; it is like a small flame that neither goes out nor burns, or an emptiness that cannot be filled.

Our origin dates back to one of the civilizations that reached the highest level of development in the world, yet for centuries we have been forced to forget it.
